The Using Way Of Marine Portable Foam Applicator

  • Preparation: Ensure that you are familiar with the specific instructions and guidelines provided by the manufacturer for your particular foam applicator model.
  • Connect the Foam Applicator: Attach the foam bucket to the firefighting nozzle using the quick coupling mechanism. Ensure a secure connection.
  • Prepare the Foam Solution: Prepare the foam solution as recommended by the manufacturer. This typically involves mixing water with the appropriate concentration of foam concentrate or foam liquid, as specified by the manufacturer.
  • Activate the Foam Applicator: Depending on the model, activate the foam applicator by either opening a valve or activating a trigger mechanism.
  • Direct the Foam Jet: Aim the foam jet at the base of the fire or the area affected by the flammable liquid. Maintain a safe distance from the fire while ensuring effective coverage of the foam.
  • Apply the Foam: Squeeze the trigger or adjust the valve to release the foam. Direct the foam stream onto the fire or the desired area, ensuring even coverage and saturation.
  • Monitor and Adjust: Continuously monitor the fire, adjusting the foam application as needed. Maintain a safe distance and be cautious of any potential re-ignition.
  • Cease Application: Once the fire is successfully extinguished or under control, cease the foam application. Close the valve or release the trigger to stop the foam flow.
