Product Detail

Introducing

Our Ship/Vessel/Boat Stop Check Valve is available in vertical SDNR (Straight Double Non-Return) configuration. It is manufactured using Marine Bronze/Stainless Steel/Copper materials and comes with CCS, BV, ABS, LR, DNV-GL, and RINA certification.

Our Ship/Vessel/Boat Stop Check Valve is carefully polished and tested before leaving the factory to ensure its performance.

The use of Copper and Marine Bronze/Stainless Steel/Steel materials ensures extended longevity for your pipes and containers.

A Stop Check Valve is a type of valve where the closure element (valve disc) moves along the centerline of the valve seat.

The opening of the valve seat is directly proportional to the travel of the valve disc.

Due to the relatively short opening and closing stroke of the valve stem and its reliable shut-off function,

as well as the direct relationship between the opening of the valve seat and the travel of the valve disc,

this type of valve is ideal for flow regulation.

Therefore, this valve is well-suited for use as a shut-off or regulating/throttling device.

Advantages of Ship/Vessel/Boat Stop Check Valves:

Lower friction between the valve disc and the sealing surface compared to gate valves, resulting in better wear resistance.
Smaller opening height, typically only 1/4 of the valve seat passage diameter, making it more compact than gate valves.
Usually, there is only one sealing surface on the valve body and valve disc, making it easier to manufacture and maintain.
However, it is important to note the disadvantages of Stop Check Valves.

The main drawback is their relatively high flow resistance coefficient, leading to pressure loss, particularly noticeable in hydraulic systems.
