Fax series explosion-proof axial flow fan is specifically designed and manufactured for marine applications, adhering to the standards set forth in GB11800 “Marine Explosion-Proof Axial Flow Fans,” GB3836-2000 “Electrical apparatus for explosive atmospheres,” and “The Manufacture Rules of Sea-going Steel Ships.”
The fax series explosion-proof axial flow fan is available in three structural types: Type I (deck type), Type II (piping type), and Type III (separate cabins type), all designed to be spark-free for enhanced safety.
Type I axial flow fans feature a hood and an explosion-proof motor installed on the top of the machine frame. The frame is surrounded by a stainless steel wire mesh guard with four openings per square centimeter. These marine ventilation fans are vertically fixed on the deck and can be used for air supply or extraction.
Type II axial flow fans do not have a hood and come with a built-in explosion-proof motor mounted on the housing using downstream guide vanes. They can be installed vertically or horizontally, including on the deck, and are suitable for pumping or sending air.
Type III fans offer a separate cabin structure, customized based on customer requirements. The fan and motor are placed in different cabins and connected through a driving device, sealed box, and two pairs of flexible couplings. This type is primarily used for drawing out noxious air from dangerous compartments. When viewed from the motor side, the impeller should rotate clockwise.
