The davit-launched marine life raft is designed to be hung at the ship’s side using launching equipment. It can be inflated and brought onboard from the ship’s deck. In case of davit failure, it can also automatically inflate like a throw-over type. This inflatable life raft is commonly used on passenger ships and cargo vessels, offering a capacity of 15-25 persons. Equipped with a private free-fall device, it is lowered into the water using steel ropes from an installation height of 18m-35m above the water surface.
