The Using Way Of Throw-over Liferaft Cradle

To deploy a throwing-type life raft from the cradle, you would:

  • Remove any securing straps or restraints holding the life raft in place.
  • Lift the life raft out of the cradle, ensuring a firm grip on the handles or designated lifting points.
  • Quickly and forcefully throw the life raft overboard into the water, aiming for a safe distance from the vessel.
  • Ensure the life raft inflates properly and remains securely attached to the vessel via the attached painter line or other securing mechanisms.
