Ocean Steel Navigation Buoy

Zava Marine’s steel navigation buoys are engineered for coastal, offshore, and challenging marine environments. Built for durability and high performance, they are widely used in port navigation, anchorage marking, channel delineation, and maritime construction safety.

1. High-Strength Marine-Grade Steel for Reliable Structure

The maritime navigation buoy body is constructed from 5mm thick CCSA-certified shipbuilding steel plates, known for their outstanding impact resistance, corrosion resistance, and fatigue strength. The internal structure is reinforced with 3 to 5 watertight compartments, precisely welded to ensure buoyancy is maintained even if one section is breached—greatly enhancing safety in rough seas.

2. Advanced Anti-Corrosion Coating for Long-Term Service Life

  • Hot-dip galvanized coating offers robust protection against oxidation and is ideal for salt-laden environments.
  • Polyurea coating provides strong adhesion and flexibility, resisting wave impact, UV radiation, and prolonged exposure to sunlight.

These coatings enhance corrosion resistance by up to 300%, ensuring a service life of over 15 years, and significantly reducing maintenance costs over time.

3. Built for Extreme Marine Conditions – Superior Stability

  • Heavy-duty mooring lugs: Each set is rated with a minimum breaking strength of 20 tons, capable of withstanding Category 12 typhoon conditions (wind speeds up to 45 m/s), offering secure mooring even under extreme forces.
  • Dual mooring chains + concrete ballast: Equipped with a dual-chain anchoring system and 3 to 6 tons of submerged ballast, the navigation buoys maintains precise positioning with a displacement error of less than 0.5 meters, even in wave heights up to 15 meters.

Anti-Collision‌ Foam Navigation Buoy‌

  1. Foam-Filled Structure: The maritime navigation buoy is internally filled with closed-cell expanded polystyrene (EPS) or polyurethane foam, providing high buoyancy and zero water absorption. Even if the outer shell is damaged, the buoy remains afloat and stable.
  2. High-Strength One-Piece Shell: The outer shell is manufactured using a rotational molding process, made from durable polyethylene (PE). The seamless structure offers excellent corrosion resistance, UV protection, and impact resistance, allowing the buoy to perform reliably in extreme temperatures ranging from -50°C to 125°C.
  3. Protective Coating: The exterior is coated with a polyurea elastomer layer, enhancing surface smoothness and weather resistance. It is highly resistant to acids, alkalis, and aging, and features excellent elasticity—allowing the shell to recover quickly after impact, thereby extending the buoy’s service life.
