About product
The anchor chain stopper is a critical safety device in a ship’s anchoring system. It secures the anchor chain using a pawl or locking mechanism, effectively bearing chain tension up to 80% of the chain’s minimum breaking load, preventing the chain from slipping or striking the hull during tides, rough seas, or ship operations, thereby ensuring safe and reliable anchoring.
Our main load-bearing frame is made of manganese–vanadium alloy cast steel, offering high strength, excellent toughness, and outstanding impact resistance, enabling long-term stable operation even under harsh sea conditions. The contact surfaces of the pawl and anchor chain are wear-resistant, extending service life while minimizing chain abrasion.
