Our marine roller fairleads are suitable for steel wire ropes and nylon ropes with diameters ranging from 19.5mm to 190mm, covering the operational needs of both standard and large vessels. We offer six models (A/BA/BB/C/D/E), among which the E type is specially designed for oversized ropes up to 190mm, meeting the requirements of deep-sea operations or large ships under harsh sea conditions with high-strength mooring demands.
The fairlead body is typically manufactured from high-strength steel or cast steel, ensuring a robust and durable structure. Its surface is reinforced with horizontal and vertical stiffeners, which further enhance overall rigidity and impact resistance, guaranteeing stable and reliable performance even under long-term and high-frequency use.
A roller fairlead is a key piece of equipment used in ship mooring and towing operations. It consists of a combination of vertical and horizontal rollers, allowing ropes to be guided smoothly from any direction. This effectively prevents direct contact between the rope and the ship’s bulwark or deck, reducing wear and enhancing both safety and efficiency during operations. The fairlead body is typically made of high-strength steel or cast steel, offering a robust and durable structure. Its surface is reinforced with horizontal and vertical stiffeners, further improving overall rigidity and impact resistance to ensure stable and reliable performance under long-term, high-frequency use.
In addition, the rollers can be fitted with wear-resistant alloy steel or coated materials as required, providing excellent abrasion resistance and corrosion protection for long-term use in marine environments. Our products not only comply with classification society standards but can also be customized according to specific operating conditions and installation requirements. They are widely used on cargo ships, tankers, engineering vessels, and offshore platforms.

Marine Roller Fairlead Types
Type A Roller Fairlead: Suitable for steel wire ropes with a diameter of 19.5–43mm, it consists of a combination of vertical and horizontal rollers, allowing flexible rope guidance while reducing direct contact with the bulwark or deck and significantly minimizing wear. With a relatively lightweight design, it is easy to install and maintain, offering high cost-effectiveness. This model is widely used as an economical fairlead solution for small and medium-sized vessels.
Type BA/BB Four Roller Fairlead
BA/BB Type Roller Fairlead: Based on the Type A design, the roller layout has been optimized to enhance lateral stability, allowing the rope tension to be distributed more evenly and reducing localized wear. It is suitable for steel wire ropes or nylon ropes with diameters of 50–95mm. This model is designed for medium to large vessels, such as cargo ships, passenger vessels, tugs, and engineering ships, and can meet the demands of higher-strength mooring, towing, and hauling operations.
In addition, the BA/BB type can be customized according to the vessel’s specific operational conditions, such as adjusting roller spacing, stiffener layout, or adding special protective features.
