Product Detail

HHP AC-14 Anchor Material

The AC-14 HHP anchor is a versatile and reliable choice for marine applications. Made from cast iron, cast steel, forged steel, or stainless steel, it offers options to suit specific needs. This type of ship anchor with finishes such as PVC coating, aluminum painting, or hot-dip galvanization, offers exceptional corrosion protection. Available in weights ranging from 5 pounds to 440 pounds, it caters to various vessel sizes. Manufactured in accordance with ASTM, DIN, BS, JIS, GB standards, the AC-14 anchor ensures consistent quality and performance.

The Using Environment Of AC-14 Anchor

The AC-14 ship anchor is specifically designed for marine environments, commonly used in harbors, port towns, and for larger boats when docking at fixed spots. It utilizes an air-cushion device (ACD) to create a static underwater anchorage. When the boat is within range, the ACD inflates, providing a floating platform capable of supporting up to 500 lbs (226 kg).

The anchor relies on weight and friction to keep the boat securely in place, regardless of prevailing wind or current conditions. This ensures stability and prevents drifting. The AC-14 ship anchor serves as an effective mooring system, providing a reliable and robust anchoring solution for ships in various marine settings.
