Fluid enters through the supply port and is channeled through internal passages and a timing plate to reach the center of the cylinder bores. When fluid pressure builds up, it pushes the pistons apart, causing the slippers to slide along the angled surfaces of the swash plates. This action leads to the rotation of the barrel and shaft assembly, generating the necessary mechanical output.

Once the motor has completed its work, the fluid is then exhausted through the timing plate and internal passages, ultimately exiting through the return port. This well-designed flow system ensures efficient operation and performance of the Eaton ME Series Motor in marine applications.
